Despite lockdowns and restrictions, our Community Orchard & wildflower meadow continued to arrange events and involve our amazing community in creating a valued green space.

Community Events & Activities - 2021

1. January 2021 - Join us on Wheston Bank and learn how to prune
   fruit trees 

2. April 2021 - Volunteers very welcome to help weed around the
   trees !!! 

3. May 2021 - May Bank Holiday - Grab a packet of seeds and help
   sow wildflowers for the Orchard

4. June 2021 - Create a Green space for all & a Children's area on Wheston Bank 

5. July 2021 - Join in an amazing Bug Hunt on Wheston Bank

6. August 2021 - Help build a Bug Hotel 

7. September 2021 -  Donating apples & damsons for the MacMillan coffee morning (Cancer support - 24 Sept 2021)

8. Sept & Oct 2021 - Community "Free for all Scrumping" ​

9. October 2021 - Tideswell Community Orchard APPLE DAY - Come and press your own fresh delicious apple juice - all welcome with or without apples.

10. November 2021 - Remembrance Day; laying a poppy wreath
